Dr. Daniel M. Katz is VP, Data Science and Innovation, managing Elevate’s data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and assisting customer efforts to infuse data science and AI into existing workstreams. A leading figure in the application of artificial intelligence and analytics in law, he has published articles in numerous academic and legal journals, with his work featured by leading media outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Financial Times. Previously, Daniel co-founded and was Chief Strategy Officer at LexPredict. a legal technology and analytics company acquired by Elevate in November 2018. He earned his PhD and J.D. from the University of Michigan.
