SYDNEY – Elevate, a global legal service provider, announced the appointment of Jon Kenton as Head of Consulting, Asia Pacific, to further expand Elevate’s consulting division serving legal departments and law firms. Kenton most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Corrs Chambers Westgarth, providing operational leadership and contributing to the strategic agenda of one of Asia Pacific’s most innovative law firms.
“At Corrs, Jon has been a strong advocate for technological innovation in delivering legal services,” said Jack Diggle, Global Head of Consulting for Elevate. “This has included partnering with Elevate to build new tools like Cael Verify and it aligns closely with our ME2 initiative to deploy Machines and Expertise in Everything. Combined with Jon’s leadership in building out Corrs’ contract lawyer model, this makes him an excellent fit with what we do.” Prior to his time at Corrs, Kenton served as Head of Technology at one of Australia’s largest banks, NAB, and led Group Risk Systems at RBS.
“Jon’s deep experience collaborating successfully within the increasingly diverse legal ecosystem will help our customers achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness,” said James Odell, Elevate’s Managing Director in the region.
Commenting on his move, Kenton said, “Elevate is uniquely positioned to address the rapidly-evolving challenges encountered by law firms and legal departments with practical solutions. I’m excited to help Elevate’s customers innovate and leverage opportunities to deliver great outcomes for all stakeholders.”
