Expanding its business in Australia and Asia Pacific, Elevate names James Odell VP and Managing Director for the region.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – January 28, 2014 – Elevate Services, Inc., a global legal services provider serving law firms and corporate legal departments, today announced the appointment of James Odell as VP and Managing Director of Australia and Asia Pacific. Odell joins Elevate from Baker & McKenzie, where he was Chief Operating Officer responsible for South East Asia and Australia. Based in Sydney, Odell will lead Elevate’s growing business in Australia and Asia Pacific.

Whilst at Baker & McKenzie, Odell was responsible for the delivery of all business services functions to the practice. During that period, Baker & McKenzie was recognized for excellence in South East Asia by Chambers, named Law Firm / Legal Advisor Of The Year by the Financial Times and Mergermarket, and named Australia’s International Firm Of the Year by ALB. Prior to Baker & McKenzie, Odell served on Linklaters’ central Strategy and Planning team, advising the Firm’s global executive committee during a period of post-merger consolidation and rapid profitability growth.
