Innovation & Excellence Awards
Client AwardsWe are thrilled by our clients’ accomplishments, many of which are a reflection of what we have helped them achieve.
For the second year in a row, our client NetApp was named to the IC10 list, this time for groundbreaking work in developing an objective, data-driven system for verifying the “fair market value” of outside counsel timekeeper rates. Elevate collaborated with NetApp to develop and deploy this system, for which we also provide ongoing operational support.
Corporate Counsel magazine
This award recognized the legal department at NetApp for multi-faceted excellence, including its victories against patent trolls, management of outside counsel spend, innovative use of technology, and overall operational strategy. We were cited as a valuable nontraditional partner in improving collaboration with outside counsel management – “a relationship [GC] Fawcett describes as ‘seamless.'”
Association of Corporate Counsel
NetApp’s legal department was selected for its 4-pronged approach to improvement: 1) developing a technology roadmap; 2) integrating dashboards and analytics; 3) developing a managed service provider; and 4) implementing value-based fee arrangements with outside firms. Elevate’s involvement in multiple aspects of this plan was described as “a game changer” for NetApp.
The legal department at NetApp made the 2013 IC10 list for their “Legal Ecosystem” approach to support the company’s quickly growing business with high-quality, efficient legal services from nontraditional outside service providers, including Elevate. Describing our ongoing partnership with the in-house team, GC Matthew Fawcett says, “Elevate operates as if they are NetApp.”
